Visualization and Presentation of Rhyming Data in Excavated Documents——A Case Study of Technical,Scientific Manuscripts and Medical Literature in Bamboo and Silk Manuscripts
This paper takes the rhyming materials from the technical occult and scientific(shushu 数术)man-uscripts and medical literature of the Warring States period,Qin and Han dynasties as the research object.With the help of the visual analysis tool Gephi,it presents the phonological characteristics of rhyming materi-als in different time and place,with the same or similar functional use.The resulting visualizations provide in-sights into the interconnections between the rhyming systems and the rhyming words.Additionally,they re-veal how these practical texts maintain a continuity with traditional rhyming practices while also embracing innovation.This approach significantly enhances the uncovering of the phonological and literary values em-bedded within the rhyming literature of the bamboo and silk manuscripts.
