Chinese International Dissemination is a new interdisciplinary domain with the International Chinese Education as the main carrier and the international dissemination of Chinese language and Chinese culture in different areas of the world as the goal.By reviewing the main viewpoints of the academic circles on the research on Chinese International Dissemination,it is found that there are some phenomena such as vague concept,unclear boundary,and large disputes on the form and media of dissemination.Based on this,this paper explains the connotation and subject attributes of Chinese International Dissemination which are widely resonated in the academic circles;This paper analyzes the controversial terms in the research,including"Chi-nese International Dissemination","International Chinese Education","Chinese International Promotion","Chinese Internationalization"and"Chinese Culture International Dissemination"and so on,and summarizes the current academic contention in the subject,form and media of Chinese International Dissemination.It is believed that the future research will mainly focus on the theoretical system,the implementation and promote the research on related discipline of Chinese International Dissemination.
