The issues concerning Australian indigenous governance have a long-standing history,with conflicts beginning as early as the colonial era.Throughout the three stages in Australian indigenous governance,including colonialism,assimilation and moderation,the Australian government followed two ways to improve indigenous governance in domestic and international level.At present,Australian indigenous governance has made great progress in land system,education and indigenous local self-government,especially in active response to various initiatives of the United Nations,and the implementation of indigenous digital governance and multi-level digital governance.But there are some problems related to neglecting indigenous traditional culture and development model.All of these experiences and lessons provide a reference for ethnic governance and cultural policies in other countries..
