In order to accurately understand the impact of digital platform interoperability on market competition,this paper starts with the analysis of the concept,types and characteristics of interoperability,and analyzes the competitive impact of interoperability between digital platforms from both positive and negative aspects.This paper proposes that interoperability between digital platforms can lead to pro-competitive effects such as demand expansion,capacity leveling and technology diffusion,while also result in anti-competitive effects such as a siphon effect,free rider effect and synergy effect.Based on the pro-competitive and anti-competitive effects of data interoperability,this paper proposes policy measures to promote interoperability while regulating the anti-competitive effects it may generate,so as to facilitate the free flow of data between platform enterprises.
