Epidemiological analysis of superficial mycoses in Changchun and its surrounding areas from 2022 to 2023
Objective To investigate the incidence of superficial mycoses,the composition and distribution of pathogenic fungi in Changchun and its surrounding areas.Methods From May 2022 to May 2023,a total of 477 cases with positive my-coscopy results were collected from our department.After fungal culture and identification,196 cases of pathogenic fungi were obtained.Results Among the 477 confirmed cases of superficial mycoses,106 cases(22.22%)of tinea pedis,78 cases(16.35%)of tinea corporis,68 cases(14.26%)of tinea versicolor,64 cases(13.42%)of onychomycosis,62 cases(13.0%)of tinea cruris,43 cases(9.01%)of Malassezia folliculitis.27 cases of tinea faciei(5.66%),20 cases of tinea manus(4.19%),7 cases of tinea capitis(1.47%),2 cases of candidiasis(0.42%);Among the 196 pathogenic fungi comfirmed by fungal culture and strain indentification,70 Malassezia strains(35.71%)ranked first,followed by 63 Trichinomyces rubrum strains(32.14%).The incidence of superficial mycoses and the distribution of pathogenic fungi were correlated with sex,age and occupation.Conclusion The superficial mycoses in Changchun and its surrounding areas are mainly tinea pe-dis.The main pathogens of the superficial mycoses are Malassezia.Compared with previous reports in many regions of Chi-na,the proportion of Malassezia increased significantly.
