A case of chronic liver failure complicated with disseminated cryptococcosis
Patients with chronic liver failure have significantly increased the incidence of cryptococcal infection due to im-paired phagocytic function,decreased complement levels,immune regulation disorders,invasive surgery,use of corticoste-roids and antibiotics,and gastrointestinal bleeding related to liver diseases.Patients with liver failure complicated with cryp-tococcal infection progress rapidly and have a high mortality rate.This study reported a patient with chronic liver failure complicated with disseminated cryptococcosis,aiming to improve the clinical understanding.
