Analysis of risk factors for chronic atrophic gastritis complicated with gastric mycosis
Objective To explore the risk factors of chronic atrophic gastritis complicated with gastric mycosis and provide a basis for prevention. Methods Totally 255 patients with chronic atrophic gastritis collected in the hospital from July 2021 to July 2023 were retrospectively analyzed. The incidence of gastric mycosis was statistically analyzed.Whether gastric my-cosis was complicated or not,the cases were divided into two groups:the concurrent group and the non concurrent group.Age,gender, obesity, course of disease,diabetes,hypertension,long-term aspirin use(≥half a year),serum albumin,CRP,gastric mucosal dysplasia Single factor and multivariate logistic regression analysis were conducted on factors such as the degree of gastric mucosal atrophy to identify risk factors for chronic atrophic gastritis complicated with gastric fungal dis-ease and provide strategies.Result There were 21 cases(8.24%)of concurrent gastric fungal diseases, among which 19 caseswere infected with Candida albicans. After treatment,19 cases were cured and fungal microscopy tests were negative. Two cases were infected with Aspergillus, and after treatment, two cases were cured and fungal negative under microscopy.By single factor analysis, there were differences between the non complicated group and the complicated group in age≥65 years, drinking history, diabetes, aspirin, course of disease≥20 years,CRP level, gastric mucosal atrophy, serum albu-min level(P<0.05),and there were no differences in gender, obesity,Helicobacter pylori infection,smoking,hyperten-sion,and gastric mucosal dysplasia(P>0.05).Through multivariate analysis, age≥ 65 years, drinking history, diabetes, taking aspirin, course of disease 20 years, degree of gastric mucosa atrophy were risk factors of chronic atrophic gastritis complicated with gastric mycosis, and serum albumin level was protective factor(P<0.05).Conclusion There are many risk factors for chronic atrophic gastritis complicated with gastric mycosis, and targeted prevention and treatment measures should be taken.
