Analysis of CT imaging and clinical manifestations of pulmonary infection with Schizophyllum commune
Objective To study the CT imaging manifestations and clinical features of Schizophyllum commune-induced pulmonary infection,to explore its CT imaging features,to improve the accuracy of its imaging diagnosis, and to create con-ditions for early clinical diagnosis and treatment. Methods Nine patients with Schizophyllum commune-induced pulmonary infection admitted to our hospital between November 2018 and November 2023 were selected, four of them had a history of contact with rotting wood. All patients received CT plain examination of the lungs before diagnosis of Schizophyllum com-mune infection, and their lung CT imaging manifestations were retrospectively analyzed to summarize the CT imaging fea-tures of the disease. Results In addition to respiratory symptoms such as cough, sputum, asthma, etc.,chest imaging of Schizophyllum commune-induced pulmonary infection suggested solid mass shadow in the lungs, partial sputum thrombus formation, nodules, local bronchial dilatation, etc.,which should be taken into account as a possible cause of the disease, and it was crucial to actively improve bronchoscopy and pathogenicity delivery to improve the level of clinicians' understanding of the disease. Conclusion The imaging of Schizophyllum commune-induced pulmonary infection has the above common signs.According to the pulmonary CT imaging hints, early differential screening of Schizophyllum commune-induced pul-monary infection is conducive to early clinical diagnosis, and has important clinical significance for disease treatment and prognosis.
