Application of TeamSTEPPS risk-based nursing in infection prevention and control of patients with tracheotomy
Objective To explore the application of TeamSTEPPS risk prevention and control model nursing in the prevention and control of infection in patients with tracheotomy,which enhances clinical performance and medical safety.Method A total of 82 patients with tracheostomy admitted to Anqing First People's Hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected.Among them,41 cases in 2021 were served as the control group and received routine postoperative care after tracheotomy.In 2022,41 cases were included in the observation group,and nursing measures based on the TeamSTEPPS risk prevention and control model were implemented on the basis of routine postoperative care after tracheotomy.The incidence of high-risk infection events,medical cooperation and patient satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Result The incidence of infection risk events in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the scores of medical and nursing cooperation and patient satisfaction were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of TeamSTEPPS based risk prevention and control model in nursing care for patients with tracheostomy has reduced the occurrence of infection risks,significantly enhanced the level of medical and nursing cooperation,and significantly improved patient satisfaction.It is worth promoting and applying in clinical practice.
