TCM pathogenesis and treatment strategies of olfactory disturbance based on the quaternity of"Zongqi-Hunt Lung-Brain-Nose"
Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in late 2019,the number of people with olfactory disturbance has increased significantly.In the Post-COVID-19 era,the number of patients complaining of anosmia has increased significantly.However,there is a lack of systematic discussion on olfactory disturbance in traditional Chinese medicine textbooks or guides.Based on the quaternity of"Zongqi-Hunt Lung-Brain-Nose",this paper discusses the occurrence of olfaction in TCM,and further elaborates the comprehensive treatment of olfaction disturbance in TCM and the rationality of the theory under the guidance of this theory,so as to provide the TCM treatment ideas and theoretical basis for the clinical treatment of olfactory disturbance.
