Clinical Observation on the Curative Effect of Acupuncture at Thirteen Ghost Points in the Treatment of Tinnitus of Liver-Stagnation and Spleen-Deficiency Type
Objective To explore the curative effect of acupuncture at thirteen ghost points on the treatment of tinnitus of liver-stagnation and spleen-deficiency type and the influence on the symptoms of anxiety,depression and insomnia.Methods A total of 66 cases were grouped for treatment group and control group,33 cases in treatment group and 33 cases in control group(3 cases shedding).Tinnitus disability scale(THI),Tinnitus severity scale,anxiety scale(SAS),depression scale(SDS)and sleep scale(SRSS)were used to evaluate the therapeutic effect.Results The THI of tinnitus patients was improved both groups(P<0.05),and the improvement in the treatment group was better(P<0.05).Comparing the effect of treatment on tinnitus between the two groups,SAS,SDS and SRSS scores of tinnitus were improved(P<0.05),and the improvement was better in treatment group.It showed that the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Tinnitus severity scale evaluation showed that the total effective rate of treatment group and control group were 90.1%and 83.3%,with statistical difference(P<0.05),indicating that the clinical effect of treatment group was better.Conclusion Acupuncture at thirteen ghost points is effective in treating tinnitus of liver-stagnation and spleen-deficiency type and can improve the symptoms of tinnitus accompanied by anxiety,depression and insomnia.
