The application value of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation in the treatment of vocal fatigue
Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation(TEAS)on voice fatigue(VF).Methods A total of 60 patients diagnosed with voice fatigue in the outpatient clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University from April to December 2021 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into two groups, with 30 cases in each group, the control group underwent voice training treatment, and the experimental group underwent transcutaneous electrical stimulation of Renying acupoint and Tiantu acupoint combined with voice training treatment, and both groups were treated for 8 weeks. The voice impairment index(VHI),voice fatigue index(VFI)and hoarseness assessment form(GRBAS-G)were recorded between the two groups before and after intervention, and the results of electronic laryngoscopy before and after intervention were compared.Result There was no significant difference in VHI,VFI and GRBAS-G scores between the two groups before treatment. After 8 weeks of treatment, the scores of VHI,VFI and GRBAS-G in the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment, and the differences before and after treatment in the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the voice score of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, but there was no significant difference in the first and second parts of VFI scale and GRBAS-G score. In addition, the total effective rate of experimental group was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Percutaneous non-invasive acupoint electrical stimulation has a good effect on the treatment of voice fatigue, which is worthy of further clinical exploration.
