Application effect of narrow-band imaging laryngoscopy in follow-up evaluation after laryngectomy
Objective To analyze the application value of narrow-band imaging(NBI)laryngoscopy in the follow-up evaluation after laryngectomy. Methods Included in this trial were 84 patients with laryngeal cancer treated by laryngectomy in our hospital from October 2019 to October 2021.These patients were followed up for one year, and then underwent WLE and NBI electronic laryngoscopy. The application value of the two modes in postoperative follow-up was analyzed. Results During follow-up,results of pathological biopsy,NBI laryngoscopy and WLE laryngoscopy showed that there were 30 cases,29 cases and 23 cases with postoperative local recurrence, respectively. The sensitivity and accuracy of NBI mode for evaluating follow-up results after laryngectomy were 90.00%and 94.05%,significantly higher than those of WLE mode(66.67%,84.52%,P<0.05).Conclusion The application value of NBI mode is good in follow-up evaluation after laryngectomy, which can be applied as a routine examination method of postoperative follow-up.
