Improving effect of data-driven multi-dimensional linkage mechanism on the punctuality rates of the first elective surgery and the first major surgery in otorhinolaryngological department

目的 探索数据驱动的多维联动机制在提高耳鼻咽喉科首台择期手术及首台大型手术开台准点率中的应用效果.方法 以2023年2~4月我院耳鼻咽喉科实施的835例首台择期手术及175例首台大型手术为对照组,分析开台准点率现况及开台延迟要因,建立数据驱动的多维联动干预机制以促进手术准点率的提升.以2023年8~10月我院耳鼻咽喉科实施的702例首台择期手术及137例首台大型手术作为观察组,比较分析多维联动干预机制干预前后首台择期手术及首台大型手术准点开台率、平均开始时间及其他相关指标的改善程度.结果 数据驱动的多维联动机制实施后,首台择期手术开台准点率由71.6%提升至78.1%(x2=8.35,P<0.05),平均开始时间提前14min(t=3.2,P<0.05);首台大型手术准时开台率由38.3%提升至64.2%(x2=20.7,P<0.001),平均开始时间提前47min(t=3.98,P<0.001).结论 数据驱动的多维联动机制可有效提高耳鼻咽喉科首台择期手术及首台大型手术开台准点率,有助于提升手术团队协作能力并提高医院运转效率.
Objective To investigate the impact of data-driven multi-dimensional linkage mechanism (DMLM) on improvement in punctuality rates of the first elective surgery and the first major surgery in the surgery management of otorhinolaryngological department. Methods Firstly,analyzed were a total of 835 first elective surgeries and 175 first major surgeries performed in otorhinolaryngological department of our hospital from February to April 2023,selected from all the done operations during this period as the control group (CG) for summarizing the reasons associated with surgical delay,carried out by a management group set up in our hospital to establish an intervening system with DMLM for improving the punctuality rate of surgery. Then,a total of 702 major surgeries and 137 first elective surgeries were taken as the observation group (OG),performed in otorhinolaryngological department of our hospital as well,from August to April 2023. By the end of the observative period,analyzed in a comparative way were such indexes as the punctuality rate,average starting time,and other related indicators of the first elective surgery and the first major surgery between the two groups to evaluate the levels of improvement in these indicators. Results Following the introducing of DMLM into the surgical management,the total punctuality rate of the first surgeries in otorhinolaryngological department had been elevated from 71.6% to 78.1%(x2=8.35,P<0.05),with the averaged starting time of operations advanced by 14 minutes (t=3.200,P<0.05). Moreover,the punctuality rate of the first major surgeries had been improved from 38.3% to 64.2% (x2=20.7,P<0.001),with the averaged starting time advanced by 47 minutes (t=3.98,P<0.001). Conclusion The data-driven multi-dimensional linkage mechanism can effectively improve the punctuality rates of the first elective surgery and the first major surgery in the surgery management of otorhinolaryngological department,which will be very helpful to enhance the collaborative ability of surgical teams for improving the operational efficiency of the hospital.
