Acute-on-chronic liver failure(ACLF)is characterized by acute decompensation,multiple organ dysfunction syndrome and high mortality.Especially in patients with advanced acute liver failure,the fatality rate is very high,and the treatment of integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine can reduce the case fatality rate.The author's team conducted a large number of clinical studies on the treatment of ACLF with integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine,summarized the academic view of"detoxifying,cooling blood and re-tongfu organs,strengthening spleen and dampening Gu Zhongjiao".Meanwhile,the author also shared the experi-ence of the application of glucocorticoid and rifaximin in combination with the treatment cases,hoping to provide some reference for the treatment of these cases.
