Hiccup is a common clinical symptom that can occur in various disease processes.Although it is a minor illness,it seriously affects the quality of life of patients.This article selects the discussions and related for-mulas on hiccup from Treatise on Febrile Diseases,Synopsis of the Golden Chamber,and Epidemic Warm Dis-eases,and explores the application of classic prescriptions and epidemic warm diseases prescriptions in the treat-ment of hiccup.At the same time,a preliminary exploration was conducted on the inheritance relationship and a-daptability between epidemic warm diseases prescriptions and classic prescriptions.This provides valuable refer-ence for the application of classic prescriptions and epidemic warm diseases prescriptions in the treatment of hic-cup.
