The etiology,pathogenesis,and typical cases of esophageal cancer were analyzed,and the clinical experience of Professor LI Zhigang on esophageal cancer was summarized.Professor LI Zhigang advocates invigor-ating the spleen and lungs and nourishing kidney Yin to protect healthy Qi;Paying attention to the relationship be-tween emotion and tumor,and regulating emotion throughout the treatment of esophageal cancer;according to the four types of syndrome of esophageal cancer,the syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis,the syndrome of fluid defi-ciency and heat,and the syndrome of positive deficiency and poison accumulation,the combination of clinical symptoms and the active use of Jingfang.
