Retrospective study on the clinical efficacy of Jianpi Huayu Jiedu Decoction in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis
Objective:To retrospectively analyze the clinical effects of Jianpi Huayu Jiedu Decoction(SWF)in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG)patients,compared with Weifuchun.Methods:A total of 350 pa-tients with CAG treated with SWF and Weifuchun at the Guangdong Second Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medi-cine from October 2017 to December 2023 were enrolled in the study,from which 160 cases received SWF,and 70 cases treated with Weifuchun who met the criteria,were randomly selected retrospectively,and the grade,the score,and the efficacy of the three major pathologies[atrophy,intestinal metaplasia(IM)and dysplasia(Dys)],as well as the Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)symptom score and syndrome efficacy,clinical efficacy were eval-uated between the two groups before and 6 months after treatment.Results:The pathological grade,pathological score,pathological score difference,TCM syndrome score and TCM syndrome score difference of the patients in the SWF group all showed significant improvement compared with those in the Weifuchun group(P＜0.05),and all of the above therapeutic indicators were significantly improved after treatment compared with pre-treatment in both groups of patients(P＜0.01).The pathological efficacy,TCM syndrome efficacy and clinical efficacy of the patients in the SWF group were better than those in the Weifuchun group(P＜0.01);and the pathological grade differences between the two groups after treatment were atrophy＞IM＞Dys,the total effective rates of patholo-gy,TCM syndrome and clinical efficacy were 90.0％,91.9％and 83.8％in the SWF group,which were higher than those of the Weifuchun group(64.3％,77.1％and 48.6％respectively).Conclusion:SWF can improve the therapeutic effect of CAG,the pathological changes,TCM syndrome,clinical efficacy,and is better than Weifu-chun,and the total pathologic and symptomatic rates were comparable in SWF-treated patients.
