Clinical efficacy of Gegen Qingchang Granule in the treatment of diarrheal irritable bowel syndrome with gastrointestinal damp-heat and Qi stagnation evidence
Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Gegen Qingchang Granule combined with Enterobacteri-um bifidum in diarrheal irritable bowel syndrome(IBS-D)of Gastrointestinal damp-heat with Qi stagnation syn-drome.Methods:Randomly divided the 96 cases into a control group and observation group each 48 cases.The control group took bifidobacterium enteric capsules for 4 weeks,and on this basis,the patients in the observation group were given Gegen Qingchang Granule for 4 weeks.In the two groups,the TCM syndrome score,clinical ef-ficacy evaluation,anxiety and depression score(SAS,SDS),and 5-HT were compared.Results:After treatment,the clinical efficacy of the observation group(95.83％)was higher than that of the control group(62.50％),and the scores of TCM syndromes,anxiety,and depression score,5-HT in the two groups were lower than before and at the same time the group in observation was lower than the control group,statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Gegen Qingchang Granule combined with Bifidobacterium has a remarkable curative effect on IBS-D of Gastrointestinal damp-heat with Qi stagnation syndrome,which can improve the clinical effective rate,relieve the clinical symptoms of patients and reduce the degree of anxiety and depression.
