This article introduces Professor WANG Yangang's medication experience in treating chronic atrophic gastritis with the methods of resolving turbidity and removing toxin method based on the theory of Sao,Jiao,Xiang,Xing,Fu five odors.This article elucidates the connotation of the"Five odors theory"and its mecha-nism in the physiological and pathological process of the five viscera.The application of the"Five odors theory"by Professor WANG Yangang in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis by methods of resoliving turbidity and re-moving toxin is introduced from five aspects,namely,Xiang odor into spleen to eliminate foul turbidity,Jiao odor into heart to clear up tiredness and heat,Sao odor into liver to dissipate blood stasis,Fu odor into kidney to elimi-nate decay,and Xing odor into lung to eliminate bad Qi,in order to provide theoretical guidance for clinical.
