Clinicopathological features and new advancement of porto-sinusoidal vascular disease
Porto-sinusoidal vascular disease(PSVD)is a hepatic vascular disease characterized by portal hy-pertension.In recent years,the number of confirmed cases of PSVD has been increasing annually.This review aims to summarize the evolution of the concept from idiopathic non-cirrhotic portal hypertension to PSVD,high-light the main pathological features of PSVD,and discuss key points for differential diagnosis.The review also discusses non-invasive diagnostic approaches,including abdominal imaging and transient elastography,and ex-plores factors related to PSVD,including immune factors,medications,and genetic diseases.In addition,the cur-rent treatment progress and its different prognosis are introduced.Future research is needed to clarify the underly-ing pathogenic mechanisms and explore new treatment approaches for PSVD.
