Medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine in treating Helicobacter pylori-related peptic ulcer based on data mining
Objective:To explore the medication rules of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in the treatment of Helicobacter pylori(HP)-related peptic ulcer(PU)by using data mining technology,and to provide evidence and ideas for the treatment of HP-related PU.Methods:Relevant clinical studies on the treatment of HP-related PU with TCM were gathered from databases such as CNKI,VIP,and Wanfang.The data were subsequently screened,and a database was established using Excel.The Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Assisted Computing Platform V3.5 was employed for statistical analysis and prescription analysis to uncover the patterns of TCM usage.Results:A total of 391 TCM prescriptions were obtained,and the main syndrome types were spleen and stomach weakness,spleen and stomach dampness-heat,etc.A tota of 191 kinds of TCM were utilized,with a frequency of 4 443 times.Among them,26 kinds of drugs with a frequency xceeding 50 were considered high-frequency drugs,including licorice,Coptis chinensis,Paeoniae radix alba,Macrocephalae rhizoma,cuttlebone and so on.The high frequency drug efficacy was mainly classified as tonic drugs,clearing-heat drugs,regulating Qi drugs and blood-activating and blood-stasis-eliminating drugs.The four natures were mainly combined with warm and cold properties,and the five flavors were mainly consisted of bitterness,sweet and pungent,with the majority being classified under the spleen,stomach,lung,and liver meridians.A total of 27 groups of commonly used drug combinations were obtained by association rule analysis,and 19 drug combinations with high correlation coef-ficient were obtained by correlation analysis.Five drug groups were obtained by cluster analysis.Conclusion:O-verall,this study provides valuable insights for the clinical treatment of HP-related PU with TCM.
