Research progress of the mechanism and treatment of"inflammation-cancer"transition of chronic atrophic gastritis
In recent years,the"inflammation-cancer"transition has emerged as a significant research focus.Intervening in and blocking this process is a crucial measure to prevent the progression of inflammation to cancer.Chronic atrophic gastritis(CAG),a prevalent digestive system disorder,is recognized as a pivotal stage in the de-velopment of gastric cancer and is often regarded as a precancerous condition.CAG is characterized by frequent re-currence,a long course, and challenges in achieving a definitive cure, with no specific therapeutic interventions currently available in clinical practice. This article mainly discusses the mechanisms underlying the"inflammation-cancer"transition in CAG from both traditional Chinese and Western medicine perspectives, and summarizes the current treatment options in both fields, aiming to offering valuable insights for the clinical management of CAG and the prevention of its progression to gastric cancer.
