Objective:To apply CT perfusion imaging parameters of brain metastases in patients with lung adenocarcinoma to classify the mutation status of the epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)gene.Methods:Forty-five patients with brain metastases in lung adenocarcinoma were retrospectively analyzed,26 cases were EGFR mutation and 19 cases were EGFR wild-type.All patients underwent cranial CT perfusion imaging, and CT perfusion parameters from the enhanced tumor and peritumoral edema were extracted.Perfusion parameters with significant correlations were applied to classify EGFR mutation and ROC curve was used to assess the efficiency. Results:Among the perfusion parameters, cerebral blood flow(CBF)and mean transit time(MTT)had significant differences between EGFR mutation and the wild-type(both P<0.005).The AUC of the CBF and MTT comodeling for classifying EGFR mutation status was 0.790.Conclusion:CT perfusion imaging parameters of brain metastases in patients with primary lung adenocarcinoma can be used to classify EGFR mutation status.
