Study on determination of reasonable position of retreating roadway under boundary of residual coal pillar
In order to determine the reasonable layout position of the retreating roadway under the boundary of residual coal pillar,a specific mine in Inner Mongolia was taken as the research object.Based on the spatial structure of the overlying rock of the residual coal pillar, the transmission law of stress on the floor was explored.By constructing a stress superposition calcu-lation model of"stress transmission from the upper coal seam's residual coal pillar to the stress induced by the excavation of the lower coal seam roadway",the relationship between the external staggered distance and the safety and stability of sur-rounding rock of the retreating roadway was analyzed. The results show that under the"support"effect of the residual coal pillar, the coal pillar body and its overlying rock are approximately the T-shaped spatial structure.A 10 m external staggered distance meets the requirements of on-site work safety and control of the roadway surrounding rock. The research results can provide reference for the stability evaluation and reasonable position determination of roadway under similar mining condi-tions.
