In order to investigate the spatio-temporal evolutionary and obstacle factors of urban waterlogging disaster resilience in Hubei province,an evaluation index system of urban waterlogging disaster resilience was constructed from four dimensions, including economic, society, infrastructure and ecological environment, and the level of resilience was measured by using the combined weight-TOPSIS method. Its spatio-temporal evolutionary characteristics was explored by combining the GIS spatial analysis method, and the obstacle degree model was used to diagnose the obstacle factors. The results show that the urban wa-terlogging disaster resilience in Hubei province presents an upward trend, the difference of resilience index among the cities has decreased, and the resilience level tends to be balanced. The urban waterlogging disaster resilience in Hubei province presents a spatial distribution of"strong in east and west, weak in middle",with no significant spatial agglomeration across the board. The number of pumping stations per unit area, the number of college students per 10,000 people, the ratio of finan-cial investment in public safety, the density of drainage pipes and GDP per capita are the five prominent obstacle factors limit-ing the urban waterlogging disaster resilience in Hubei province. The results can provide a reference for Hubei province to for-mulate the regional flood management and resilient city plans.
