Evaluation on gas detection coverage of petrochemical plant based on scene frequency
In order to solve the problem that the existing evaluation methods fail to quantitatively analyze the uneven distribu-tion of leakage scene frequency in petrochemical process modules,an evaluation method for the gas detection coverage of pet-rochemical plants based on scene frequency was proposed, which included three steps:the construction of typical leakage scene library, the simulation of gas leakage and diffusion behavior based on CFD,and the calculation of detection coverage based on scene frequency.A quantitative screening method was proposed to select more representative high-frequency leak scenes,so as to characterize the leakage scene characteristics of the plant and save the computational resources at the same time. The results show that by introducing into the leakage scene frequency, the coverage evaluation formula is upgraded. The comparison of case study results indicates that the calculation method is able to evaluate the effectiveness of the gas detection system more realistically and accurately.
