Experimental study on gender comparison for gait parameters of individuals with different motion postures
To investigate the internal mechanism of gait parameters affecting the slip risk of individual, the comparative analy-sis was conducted on the gait parameters of male and female individuals under two motion postures of walking and running. The step length, step width, and maximum plantar positive pressure of individuals under different speeds and gradients were measured and analyzed by using a three-dimensional force-measuring treadmill. The results show that after eliminating the in-fluence of height, the step length of male individuals in running posture is about 4 cm smaller than that of female individuals at the same speed. The ratio of maximum plantar positive pressure to gravity of male individuals in walking posture is about 1.1 times that of female individuals. In the running posture, with the increase of individual step length, the step frequency of male and female individuals remains basically at 2.6~2.8 steps/s.In the running posture, the individuals will increase the motion speed by maintaining the step frequency and increasing the step length(increasing the force between plantar and ground or the step angle). The research results can provide reference for the subsequent study of individual slip risk.
