Study on mechanical characteristics of ship impact on bridge substructure in inland river
In order to study the mechanical characteristics of bridge substructure in inland river under ship impact, relying on the Hanjiang first bridge in Ankang, the indoor model test of single pile impact force under horizontal impact load was carried out.Based on the verification of the numerical model validity through indoor model test results,a substructure model of the Hanjiang first bridge was established to study and analyze its ship impact force, displacement, and damage characteristics un-der ship impact. The results show that the ship impact force generated by ship-bridge collision can be divided into the direct impact stage and residual force impact stage, and the study of ship-bridge collision problems can only use the direct impact stage. The greater the stiffness of the bridge substructure, the shorter the contact time for ship-bridge collision, and the greater the peak value of ship impact force. The maximum displacement deformation at different positions of the bridge substructure under ship impact mainly occurs at the connections of various components, and the neutral point of the pile foundation mainly appears near the pile top and the lower half of pile body. When conducting the anti-collision design of the bridge substruc-ture,the attention should be paid to the strength of the connection between the bridge pier and the cap,as well as the connec-tion between the cap and the pile foundation. The research results can provide a reference for the anti-collision design and corresponding regulations of inland river bridges.
