Abstract
New urbanization and rural revitalization are the"integral core and dual wings"of integrated urban-rural development,forming an organic whole characterized by harmonious coexistence and mutual benefit.The Central Economic Work Conference emphasizes the need to organically integrate the promotion of new urbanization and comprehensive rural revitalization.Coordinating the two,the new urbanization and comprehensive rural revitalization,serves as a strategic fulcrum for China's modernization,an essential way to achieve integrated urban-rural development,and a decisive measure to promote common prosperity in a substantive way.In the new era and on the new journey,coordinating the new urbanization and comprehensive rural revitalization requires precise identification of key issues,scientific assessment of the current situation,and accurate understanding of the main directions of progress.It involves strengthening policy integration in institutional design,strengthening digital empowerment in terms of development dynamics,enhancing bidirectional flow in factor allocation,and emphasizing county-level units in spatial integration.
