The Effect of Qinggong Orthopedic Technique on Wrist Joint Function in Patients with Distal Radius Fractures
Objective:To explore the efficacy of the Qinggong orthopedic technique on wrist joint function in patients with distal radius fractures.Methods:80 patients with distal radius fractures who were treated from August 2019 to August 2023 were selected as the research subjects. They were given Qinggong orthopedic technique combined with splint external fixation. The clinical efficacy, adverse reactions were analyzed, and the grip strength, visual analogue scale(VAS)score, clinical healing status, wrist joint function, and General Quality of Life Inventory-74(GQOLI-74)scores before and after treatment were statistically analyzed. Results:There were 33 cases with excellent results,43 cases with good results,2 cases with moderate results, and 2 cases with poor results. The excellent and good treatment rate was 95.00%(76/80).After treatment, the patient's grip strength increased compared to before treatment, and the VAS score decreased com-pared to before treatment(P<0.05).The shortening length of the patient's radius was(0.18±0.23)cm,the appearance time of external callus was(7.23±0.79)weeks,and the complete healing time of the fracture was(61.33±6.57)d.Af-ter treatment, the patient's functional condition, grip strength, pain, and range of motion scores all increased compared to before treatment(P<0.05).After treatment, the patient's physical, psychological, material, and social scores all increased compared to before treatment(P<0.05).The patient experienced one case of nausea and vomiting, one case of diarrhea, and the incidence of adverse reactions was 2.50%(2/80).Conclusion:The Qinggong orthopedic technique can promote the recovery of wrist joint function in patients with distal radius fractures, reduce pain, and improve treatment effectiveness, with extremely high clinical application value.
