Clinical Study on the Curative Effect of Fire Dragon Cupping Therapy for Acute Gout with Syndrome of Cold-dampness Blockage
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of fire dragon cupping therapy in acute gout with syn-drome of cold-dampness blockage.Methods:68 patients were selected and randomly divided into 34 cases in the treatment group and 34 cases in the control group. The control group was given conventional treatment and care, while the treatment group was treated with fire dragon cupping therapy on the basis of the control group. The pa-tients'visual analog scores(VAS)and TCM symptom scores were evaluated before and after the intervention, and the patients'blood sedimentation(ESR)and C-reactive protein(CRP)levels were recorded before and after the treatment, and the clinical efficacy was assessed. Results:After the intervention, the total effective rate of the treatment group(97.06%)was higher than that of the control group(76.46%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the VAS score, each TCM evidence score, total TCM evidence score,CRP level and ESR lev-el of patients in both groups decreased compared with those before treatment, and the treatment group was lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Adding fire dragon cupping therapy to conventional treatment and nursing can relieve pain, reduce clinical symptoms and low-er serum inflammatory factor levels more quickly in patients with acute gout with syndrome of cold-dampness blockage.
