Effect of Modified Xuanbai Chengqi Decoction on serum IL-21,CTRP-9 and IL-33 in Patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Objective:To investigate the effects of Modified Xuanbai Chengqi Decoction on serum IL-21,CTRP-9 and IL-33 in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Methods:A total of 120 patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease admitted to our hospital were prospectively selected.They were randomly divided into study group and control group,60 cases in each group.The control group was given conventional treatment.On this basis,the study group was treated with modified Xuanbai Chengqi Decoction.Pul-monary function,TCM symptom score,6MWT and serum indexes(IL-21,CTRP-9,IL-33)of the two groups were examined before and after treatment,and the clinical efficacy of the two groups were counted.Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 91.67％,which was significantly higher than 78.33％of the control group(P＜0.05).Before treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were compared with 6MWT,IL-21,CTRP-9,IL-33,FVC,FEV1 and FEV1/FVC(P＞0.05).After treatment,FVC,FEV1,FEV1/FVC,TCM symptom score and 6MWT in the study group were significantly improved than those in the control group(P＜0.05).After treatment,IL-21,CTRP-9 and IL-33 in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Modified Xuanbai Chengqi Decoction can inhibit the expression of IL-21,CTRP-9 and IL-33 in pa-tients with acute exacerbation chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,so as to promote the lung function and recov-ery of clinical symptoms.
