Clinical Study on the Treatment of Acute Stage Patients with Cervical Spondylotic Localization(Qi Stag-nation and Blood Stasis Syndrome)with Three-way Balanced Acupuncture Combined with Three-step Massage Therapy
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of three-way balanced acupuncture combined with three-step massage therapy for cervical spondylotic localization(CSL)in acute stage. Methods:A total of 120 patients were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. Both groups were given routine treatment, and the control group was treated with three-step massage therapy. On this basis, the observation group was treated with three-way balanced acupuncture. The clinical effica-cy and safety of the two groups were evaluated, and the scores of TCM syndrome, cervical spine mobility, pain me-diators[substance P(SP)and prostaglandin E2(PGE2)]and cervical blood flow were compared before and after treatment. Results:The total effective rate of clinical treatment in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group;after 2 weeks of treatment, the scores of TCM syndrome in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the cervical spine mobility in all directions in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the blood flow volume and velocity of left and right vertebral arteries in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).No adverse reactions such as rash, pain aggravation, nausea and vomiting occurred in both groups during the observation and treatment period.Conclusion:Three-way balanced acupuncture combined with three-step massage therapy is an effective scheme for treating acute CSL.It can improve the TCM syndrome of patients,re-store cervical spine mobility and cervical blood flow, reduce oxidative stress state, and has reliable safety.
