Effects of Xifeng Huatan Tongluo Granules on Lipid Metabolism,Hemorheology,and Neurological Func-tion in Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction
Objective:To observe the effects of Xifeng Huatan Tongluo Granules on lipid metabolism,hemorhe-ology,and neurological function in patients with acute cerebral infarction.Methods:A total of 80 patients with acute cerebral infarction were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group,with 40 cases each.The control group received routine treatment,while the observation group received treatment with Xifeng Huatan Tongluo Granules on the basis of the control group.The lipid metabolism indicators[total cholester-ol(TC),triglycerides(TAG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDLC),and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDLC)],blood rheology[whole blood high shear viscosity(HSV),platelet adhesion rate(PAdR),and hematocrit(HCT)],cerebral blood perfusion[middle cerebral artery end-diastolic blood velocity(EDV),peak systolic flow velocity(PSV),and mean blood flow velocity(Vm)],National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)scores and other levels of the two groups were recorded and compared.Results:After treatment,the levels of TC,TAG,HDLC,and LDLC in both groups improved compared with before treatment(P＜0.05),and the observation group was significantly better than the control group(P＜0.05);after treatment,the levelsof EDV,PSV and Vm in both group sincreased obvisouly(P＜0.05),and the observation group washigher significantly than the controlgroup(P＜0.05);after treatment,the levels of HSV,PAdR,and HCT in both groups decreased compared with before treatment(P＜0.05),and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P＜0.05);after treatment,the NIHSS scores of both groups decreased compared with before treatment(P＜0.05),and the observation group was significantly lower than the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Xifeng Huatan Tongluo Granules can improve lipid metabolism,improve blood rheology,increase cerebral blood flow perfusion,and promote neurological function recovery in patients with acute cerebral infarction.
