Objective:To study the clinical effect of Tongbi Capsules combined with cervical traction for cervi-cal spondylosis(syndrome of cold-dampness blockage).Methods:A total of 98 patients with cervical spondylosis(syndrome of cold-dampness blockage)were randomly divided into a control group(n=49)and test group(n=49).The control group was given cervical traction,and the test group was given Tongbi Capsules on the basis of the control group.The VAS score,Neck Disability Index(NDI)score and clinical efficacy of the two groups were observed 3 weeks after treatment.Results:Compared with before treatment,the VAS scores,NDI scores and symp-toms of cervical spondylosis in the two groups were significantly improved after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total effective rate of the test group was 91.84％,which was significantly higher than 71.43％of the control group with a statistical difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Tongbi Capsules com-bined with cervical traction can effectively treat cervical spondylosis(syndrome of cold-dampness blockage),im-prove clinical symptoms,with high safety,few adverse reactions.
