Clinical Observation of Xinjia Ningxin Tongbi Decoction in Treating Senile Stable Angina Pectoris of Coronary Heart Disease(Syndrome of Blood Stasis due to Qi Deficiency with Qi Stagnation)
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Xinjia Ningxin Tongbi Decoction in the treatment of se-nile stable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease(syndrome of blood stasis due to qi deficiency with qi stagna-tion).Methods:A total of 60 patients were randomly assigned to either an observation group or a control group,and both groups were given western medicine for secondary prevention of coronary heart disease.The observation group also orally received Xinjia Ningxin Tongbi Decoction for 4 weeks,and the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms,improvement of angina pectoris,main symptom scores,Seattle Angina Quotient(SAQ)scores,and electrocardiogram in both groups before and after treatment were observed.Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 86.21％,which was higher than 71.43％of the control group(P＜0.05);the total effec-tive rate of improvement of angina pectoris in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P＜0.05);the scores of chest tightness,chest pain,shortness of breath and palpitation in the observation group after the treatment were significantly lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05);the scores of SAQ in both groups were higher than those before the treatment(P＜0.05),and the increase was more significant in the observation group(P＜0.05);the improvement of electrocardiogram in the observation group was better than that in the control group after treatment(P＜0.05).There were no abnormalities in the blood,urine and stool routine examinations and liver and kidney functions before and after treatment in both groups.Conclusion:Xinjia Ningxin Tongbi De-coction can effectively improve patients'symptoms and quality of life by treating senile stable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease(syndrome of blood stasis due to qi deficiency with qi stagnation).
