Ischemic stroke is a common cerebrovascular disease characterized by high morbidity,mortality and disability rates,and its main pathological process is cerebral pulse obstruction.This paper combines theory and practice to conduct relevant discussion and analysis and believes that nutrient qi and defensive qi are closely relat-ed to ischemic stroke.Nutrient qi and defensive qi can not only melt blood,but also help blood,and strengthen the pulse channel;if nutrient qi and defensive qi is stagnant,the qi and blood metaplasia is insufficient and the op-eration is blocked,which can cause qi,phlegm,stasis,fire,wind,toxin and other pathogenic qi,constituting the key link in the occurrence and development of ischemic stroke.Therefore,the pathogenesis of ischemic stroke is dis-cussed from the perspective of deficiency and stagnation of both nutrient qi and defensive qi,and the relationship between deficiency and stagnation of both nutrient qi and defensive qi and ischemic stroke is expounded,and the prescription drugs for the prevention and treatment of ischemic stroke are discussed to supplement the tonifying de-ficiency and eliminating stagnation and harmonizing nutrient qi and defensive qi,so as to provide new ideas for the clinical differentiation and treatment of ischemic stroke,and attach a test case to support it.
