Effect of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Combined with Xingnao Kaiqiao Acupuncture on Neurological and Cognitive Function in Stroke Patients
Objective:To explore the effect of transcranial magnetic stimulation combined with Xingnao Kaiq-iao Acupuncture on neurological and cognitive function in stroke patients. Methods:A total of 76 stroke patients who were treated in our hospital were selected and randomly divided into treatment group(38 cases)and control group(38 cases). Both groups received routine symptomatic treatment. On this basis, the treatment group was treat-ed with transcranial magnetic stimulation combined with Xingnao Kaiqiao Acupuncture, while the control group was only treated with transcranial magnetic stimulation. Both groups were treated for 6 weeks. The levels of neu-rotransmitter indicators[Substance P(SP),Neuropeptide Y(NPY),5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)]were detected before and after treatment, and the neurological function, cognitive function, ability of daily living and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome score were recorded. At the same time, the clinical efficacy was evaluated, and the adverse reactions were observed after the treatment. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in ad-verse events between the groups(P>0.05).The scores of various TCM syndromes,NIHSS scores, and SP and NPY levels in both groups were significantly reduced, and the treatment group were lower than the control group(P<0.01).The MoCA,BI scores, and 5-HT levels were significantly increased in both groups, and the treatment group was higher than the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion:Transcranial magnetic stimulation combined with Xing-nao Kaiqiao Acupuncture can significantly improve the neurological and cognitive functions of stroke patients, and has a good regulatory effect on neurotransmitter content. The overall treatment effect is significant and safe.
