Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of"Longhu Jiaozhan"Acupuncture at Tianyou point in the treatment of sympathetic cervical spondylosis(SCS)and to explore its therapeutic mechanism.Methods:100 patients with SCS were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group,with 50 patients in each group.The treatment group was treated with"Longhu Jiaozhan"Acupuncture at Tianyou point,and the control group received ordinary acupuncture.Both groups were treated once a day,took a rest one day after seven treat-ments,and a total of 14 treatments were as one course of treatment.The changes of the VAS scores,cervical sym-pathetic symptom scores,TCD,BAEP,urinary NA of the two groups before and after treatment were recorded.Re-sults:After treatment the improvement of VAS scores,cervical sympathetic symptom scores,TCD,BAEP and uri-nary NA in the treatment group were better than those in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion:"Longhu Jiaozhan"Acupuncture at Tianyou point is an effective treatment measure for SCS.
