Clinical Observation of TCM Massage on Acute Attack of Cervical Spondylosis
Objective:To explore and analyze the clinical effect of traditional Chinese massage on acute attack of cervical spondylosis. Methods:A total of 90 patients with acute attack of cervical spondylosis admitted to our hospital were divided into the observation group and control group by random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. The control group was treated with celeoxib orally, and the observation group was treated with tradi-tional Chinese massage(one finger Zen pushing method combined with local massage of sternocleidomastoid mus-cle)on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy,VAS score,NDI index, mean EMG value and the oc-currence of adverse events were observed and compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.56%,which was significantly higher than that of the control group(80.00%)(P<0.05),and the improvement degree of VAS score,NDI index and average EMG value of the observation group was significantly better than those of the control group(P<0.05).No adverse events occurred in both groups.Conclu-sion:Traditional Chinese massage(one finger Zen pushing method combined with local massage of sternocleido-mastoid muscle)can significantly reduce the pain of patients with acute attack cervical spondylosis, relieve their neck muscle spasm, which is safe and effective, and is worthy of further research and promotion.
