Exploring Diagnostic and Therapeutic Strategies for Allergic Colitis in Children Based on the Theory of Latent Wind
Allergic colitis is an allergic reaction triggered by food proteins. This article, based on its pathogene-sis,initiates from the theory of latent wind, proposing that the accumulation of latent wind with pathogenic factors and the correlation between the lungs and intestines constitute the conditions for the onset of the disease;the con-cealment of latent wind leading to impaired mucosal barrier function forms the foundation of its development;and the persistence of latent wind resulting in dysbiosis is a crucial factor for its prolongation.Accordingly, treatment strategies are derived:externally dispelling wind pathogens, internally resolving latent wind;combining various methods to regulate constitution;and cautiously regulating diet and harmonizing the spleen and stomach.
