Clinical Observation on"Z"Shape Scraping Needle Therapy for Acute Exacerbation of Cervical Spondy-lotic Radiculopathy(Syndrome of Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis)
Objective:To observe the clinical effect of"Z"shaped scraping needle therapy for acute exacerba-tion of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis)and its influence on inflam-matory factors. Methods:A total of 120 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into the scraping needle group and acupuncture group, and received"Z"-shaped scraping needle combined with routine care education and acupuncture combined with routine care education, respectively. The changes of cervical spine function, pain intensity, quality of life and serum inflammatory factor levels, the E splenius capitis muscle and com-plexus,and the recurrence rates at 1 month,3 months and 6 months were compared between the two groups.Re-sults:The symptoms and functional evaluation of both groups improved significantly after treatment, and the scrap-ing needle group was better than the acupuncture group(P<0.05).The serum levels of TNF-α,IL-1β and IL-6 decreased significantly in both groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the scraping needle group had lower levels than the control group(P<0.05).The E values of splenius capitis muscle and complexus decreased in both groups after treatment, and the scraping needle group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).The recurrence rate at 6 months after treatment was lower in the scraping needle group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:"Z"shaped scraping needle therapy can effectively improve the cervical spine function, pain intensity and quality of life of patients with acute exacerbation of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis),reduce the E values of related muscles, and may exert its effect by inhibiting the release of inflamma-tory factors, and reduce the recurrence rate.
