Pathogenesis of"Deficient-Qi Induced Stagnation"in Sepsis-Induced Cardiomyopathy and the Vicious Cycle Hypothesis of"Inflammation-Mitochondrial Damage"
Sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy is an acute reversible cardiac dysfunction caused by sepsis, with a complex pathological mechanism.Under the influence of Academician Wang Yongyan's innovative theory of"defi-cient-qi induced stagnation"pathogenesis, this article analyzes the pathogenesis of"deficient-qi induced stagna-tion"in sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy.Based on modern research results, the vicious cycle hypothesis of"inflam-mation-mitochondrial damage"in sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy is summarized, and an important convergence point for the study of sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy in Chinese and western medicine is constructed from both macro and micro levels. The agreement between the pathogenesis of"deficient-qi induced stagnation"and the vi-cious cycle hypothesis of"inflammation-mitochondrial damage"has opened up a new perspective in the study of sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy.
