Clinical Observation on the Treatment of Acute Pancreatitis with Modified Dahuang Mudan Decoction Combined with Chinese Medicine Enema
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Modified Dahuang Mudan Decoction combined with traditional Chinese medicine enema in the treatment of acute pancreatitis.Methods:60 patients with non biliary acute pancreatitis who were randomly assigned to a control group and an observation group by computer, with 30 patients in each group. The control group received basic treatment with western medicine and glycerine enema, while the treatment group received oral administration of Dahuang Mudan Decoction on the basis of the control group. The enema medication was a traditional Chinese medicine formula(Dachengqi and Liujunzi Decoction),and the treatment time for both groups of patients was 5 days. The changes in serum amylase, white blood cell count,C-reactive protein, modified CT severity index score, traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score, and length of hospital stay between two groups before and after treatment were compared, and the clinical efficacies of the two groups were evaluated. Results:There was no significant difference in the above observation indicators between the two groups of patients before treatment(P>0.05).The decrease in the above observation indicators in the treat-ment group was dominantly better than control group after treatment(P<0.05);the total effective rate of treatment group(93.33%)was apparently better than the control group(70.00%)(P<0.05),and the recovery rate of the treat-ment group(30.00%)was better than the control group(13.33%).Conclusion:The combination of Modified Da-huang Mudan Decoction and traditional Chinese medicine enema can significantly reduce blood amylase, white blood cell count,C-reactive protein,MCTSI score, and traditional Chinese medicine syndrome score in patients with acute pancreatitis in the short term, reduce hospitalization days, and remarkably increase the clinical efficacy of acute pancreatitis, which is worth promoting in clinical practice.
