Clinical Observation of Tanrenong Decoction in the Treatment of Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Pneumonia in Children
Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of Tanrenong Decoction in the treatment of mycoplas-ma pneumonia in children. Methods:A total of 82 children with mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia hospitalized in Nanjing Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine were selected and divided into the control group and observation group according to random number table method. The control group was treated with atomization,anti-inflammatory,anti-asthmatic treatment, while the observation group was added with Tanrenong Decoction. The clinical efficacy,TCM pattern scores, disappearance time of symptoms and signs(fever, cough, lung rales),inflammatory indexes(C-reactive protein, erythrocyte sedimentation rate,interleukin-6),lung function in-dexes(forced vital capacity, peak expiratory flow rate, maximum mid-expiratory flow rate)and adverse reactions were observed. Results:After treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 95.12%,which was higher than 80.49%of the control group(P<0.05),and the time of disappearance of fever, cough and pulmonary rales in the observation group was faster than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the TCM syn-drome score, serum C-reactive protein, erythrocyte sedimentation rate and interleukin-6 levels in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the forced vital capacity, peak expiratory flow rate and mid-maximum expiratory flow rate of the two groups were higher than those before treatment, and the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The clinical efficacy of Tanrenong Decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumoniae in children is significant.
