Meta-analysis on the Efficacy of Xintong Oral Liquid in the Treatment of Angina Pectoris in Coronary Heart Disease
Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of Xintong oral liquid in the treatment of angina pectoris in coro-nary heart disease(CHD)through meta-analysis.Methods:Relevant literature on the treatment of angina pectoris in CHD with Xintong oral liquid was searched in SinoMed database,VIP database,Wanfang database,CNKI,Pubmed database from January 1,2014 to December 10,2023.Statistical analysis was performed using RevMan5.4 software.Results:Compared with the use of conventional medicine alone,the combination of Xintong oral liquid significantly improved the overall effective cure rate[OR=6.18,95％CI(3.73,10.25)]and the effect on electrocar-diogram efficacy[OR=4.14,95％CI(2.17,7.90)].It also reduced the duration of heart pain[MD=-2.47,95％CI(-2.77,-2.17)]and further decreased the frequency of heart pain attacks[SMD=-4.34,95％CI(-5.91,-2.77)].There was no significant difference in side effects between the two.Conclusion:The combination of Xintong oral liquid and conventional western medicine in the treatment of angina pectoris in CHD patients shows significantly better efficacy than conventional western medicine alone,with good safety.High-quality,large-sample,multi-cen-ter randomized controlled trials are expected to provide richer evidence-based evidence for the application of Xin-tong oral liquid in angina pectoris in coronary heart disease.
