Exploring the Strategy for Staged Diagnosis and Treatment of Epididymitis Based on the Theory of"Promoting Unobstructed Function"
This study discusses the staged treatment of epididymitis based on the theory of"promoting unob-structed function".It is believed that clinically, epididymitis can be divided into three stages:the acute stage char-acterized by the mutual entanglement of dampness and heat, with the internal generation of turbid toxins;the sub-acute stage marked by the mutual conflict of stasis and heat, with persistent induration;and the chronic stage fea-turing spleen deficiency and failure of transportation, resulting in the formation of phlegm from stagnant fluids.Guided by the theory of"promoting unobstructed function",the treatment of epididymitis emphasizes restoring the unobstructed flow in the seminal region.Depending on different stages of onset, the focus shifts to clearing heat and promoting diuresis, promoting blood circulation for removing blood stasis, and strengthening the spleen to re-solve phlegm, combining replenishment with unobstructed flow,so as to help restore the smoothness of the seminal region and ultimately cure the disease. This approach provides a new diagnostic and therapeutic perspective for the treatment of epididymitis with traditional Chinese medicine.
