Clinical Observation on the Tongdu Jiaotai Acupuncture Method in Treating Limb Motor Dysfunction after Stroke
Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Tongdu Jiaotai acupuncture in treating limb motor dys-function after stroke. Methods:Patients with post-stroke limb motor dysfunction who underwent treatment were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group re-ceived routine medication, acupuncture, and related rehabilitation training treatment, while the observation group re-ceived acupuncture treatment using the Tongdu Jiaotai acupuncture method on the basis of the control group. The clinical efficacy of both groups was compared along with the Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FM A)motor function evalua-tion scale scores,Activities of Daily Living(ADL)scores, and Chinese Clinical Neurological Deficit Scale(CSS)scores. Results:The overall effective rate of clinical therapy in the observation group(86.84%)was superior to that of the control group(82.35%)(P<0.05),and the CSS scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The FMA scores and ADL scores in both groups were significantly increased(P<0.05),with the observation group scoring higher than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Tongdu Jiaotai acupuncture method demonstrates significant clinical efficacy in patients with limb dysfunction in the recovery pe-riod of stroke and has a significant improvement effect on limb motor function, while also improves daily living ability.
