Effect of Triple Therapy with Milli-fire Needle on Herpes Improvement and Lymphocyte Ratio in Patients with Herpes Zoster
Objective:To observe the effect of triple therapy with milli-fire needle on herpes improvement and lymphocyte ratios in patients with herpes zoster. Methods:A total of 120 patients were randomly divided into two groups of 60 patients each using the random number table method. The control group received conventional acu-puncture+bloodletting cupping+moxibustion, while the treatment group received milli-fire needle+bloodletting cupping+moxibustion. Both groups were treated for 2 weeks. The improvement of herpes and lymphocyte ratios were compared between the two groups after treatment. Results:The overall effective rate of the treatment group was 95.00%,which was higher than the 81.67%in the control group(P<0.05);after treatment, the main symptom scores and VAS scores of the treatment group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05);pain relief start time and the duration of pain were shorter in the treatment group compared with the control group(P<0.05);compared with before treatment, the serum CD4+,CD4+/CD8+levels increased in both groups after treatment, and were higher in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05),while the CD8+levels decreased, and were lower in the treatment group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Triple therapy with milli-fire nee-dle in the treatment of herpes zoster has significant efficacy, effectively improving herpes symptoms, relieving neu-ralgia,regulating lymphocyte ratios, and enhancing immune function.
